Zombie Reddy 2 Zombie-verse: what the studio actually said

Bigger, badder, bloodier — and the quotes you can pin to a source.

Zombie-Verse Update

People Media Factory did not only drop a title. They named a “zombie-verse,” printed Dead or Alive next to 2027, and put a birthday quote in Variety’s mouth. This page is the news desk for those words so they do not get stretched into a cinematic-universe bible the studio has not authorised. Pictures stay on the title announcement. Dates stay on release date.

The caption, verbatim enough

On 23 August 2026 the studio wrote: TejaSajjaPMF2 is ZombieReddy2 — NXT LVL. Title announcement video out now. Welcoming you all back to the zombie-verse. This time it’s bigger, badder and bloodier. Happy birthday, superhero Teja Sajja. NXT LVL — Dead or Alive. 2027.

That is branding, not a slate of spin-offs. One sequel, one city swarm, one joystick. If a blog announces Zombie Reddy 3 from this caption, it is writing fiction. The video itself is the only official moving image; a 22-second short followed on 25 August on the same channel. On 26 August the studio posted the glimpse cue to digital stores under the title Jum Jum Jhumthaara — Gowra Hari, Naagavva, VSHN. That is a music listing, not a new trailer. Details on the soundtrack page.

Teja’s quote

Variety ran a birthday statement. The useful lines: cinema survives on audacity, not formulas. The first film was a calculated risk. He thanks audiences for taking him as a zombie slayer. He promises to take the mayhem to a whole new scale. As he turns a year older, the zombies turn deadlier. He is set to fight the dead.

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad, in the same package, said everything is next level from actors to director, technicians, and music. The scale is massive. The stakes are dead or alive. They cannot wait to bring this zombieverse to audiences in 2027.

Pin those to Variety and the studio channel, listed on Links. Do not pin box-office predictions.

The other sequel in the background

Great Andhra reported on 28 June 2026 that Teja was quietly shooting Zombie Reddy 2 in Hyderabad while also progressing Jai HanuMan. That is career context, not a crossover. Hanu-Man stickers in the 2021 van were a gag, not a shared universe. This wiki will not merge mythological sequels into the zombie map. Teja’s lane: Teja Sajja.

What “in production” still means

THR India in early July 2026: cameras in Hyderabad, Shanaya to join as female lead. IMDb: in production, expected 2027. No wrap photo. No locked month. An older Sankranthi 2027 rumour was not repeated in the glimpse. Keep that tension on the release date page rather than picking a winner here.

No AI in the making, the video says. Treat it as a 2026 process claim, not a complete VFX vendor list. Production holds the crew.

How to use this update

If you arrived from “Zombie Reddy 2 news today,” this is the stack: title video, three-name cast, seven languages, 2027, still shooting. Next reads: cast hub, original vs sequel, soundtrack. When a dialogue trailer or a first-look still lands, it will get its own article and a link from the updates hub. Until then, do not let “zombie-verse” inflate past one sequel with a bigger map.

Mario is still a designer. Hyderabad is the new board. Dead or Alive is a tag, not a release title. 2027 is the year. That is the whole official story as of late August 2026.
